If you are interested in renting a car to explore Costa Rica besides Tamarindo we will be happy to arrange it for you. We work together with a very reliable car agency - but remember: Costa Rica is a small country but travelling takes time because of the (sometimes) bad roads!
And the best time to travel? Nearly the whole year round: in the dry season (November until April) it's hot, sunny and the humidity is low and comfortable. In the "rainy season" (May to October) it's sunny or partly cloudy and it usually starts to rain in the afternoon for one or two hours. We love the rainy season because the sunsets are spectacular and the vegetation flourish! But don't worry, Tamarindo is known as the dryest place in Costa Rica!
